Cynthia Rowley created the "?" for Free Arts NYC's A to Z project.
We asked 45 premier artists, illustrators, typographers and designers to lend their talents to create a letter, number or symbol. This resulted in the A to Z Project, a custom typeface from which we created a unique logo, and with it, a revitalized brand. This collection of playful and diverse artworks represent what our programs instill in the youth we serve, the capacity of the arts to give life to an authentic, creative voice.
