Saddam, Hamza e Omar have travelled for thousands of chilometres. They have gone throughs journeys that start from the wars of Afghanistan, of the Horn of Africa, of the Middle East. Once in Greece, close to the Europe they dream for, they have to spend months around the port of Patras in the attempt to board the ferries that cross the Adriatic Sea. The courage they show crossing the sea, thou, has no relevance for the Italian port authority: spotted in the harbor while unloading the boat, the migrants are delivered to the same ferry, immediately pushed back to Greece (technically “Readmitted”), violeated in their rights of refugees and of asylum seekers.
