Authorities are not releasing the names but the Marine Corps confirms the explosive ordnance disposal technicians were killed at 11:00 AM yesterday morning during a routine maintenance operation. General John Bullard said in a statement "Our first priority is to provide the families with the support they need during this difficult time"
The Navy medial ship the USNS Mercy is preparing for possible deployment to the typhoon stricken islands in the Philippines this morning. The Mercy could deploy in the next few days and reach the people in need next month.
