Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Errol Morris discusses his new film "The Unknown Known" during a visit to the Nieman Foundation on November 13, 2013. In a conversation with 2014 Nieman Fellow Anna Fifield, he talks about Donald Rumsfeld's tenuous relationship with the truth, how journalists failed to more fully investigate the claims that Rumsfled made, and the lessons that were not learned from America's experience in Vietnam (the subject of his earlier film about Robert MacNamara, "The Fog of War").
