The frames in the top video represent the "reference" video, collected a few hours ago by another truck in a convoy. The frames in the bottom video represent the current data collection. Soldiers are interested to know when an object appears in a frame in the bottom video that was not present in the top video.
Changes are flagged using a combination of temporal- and spatial-video warping and feature-point-based change detection models using variational Bayesian statistical models.
