AM Briefing from Bowlersdesk.com for November 15, 2013

Four bodies found buried in the Mojave desert are thought to be the missing McStay family. Joseph, his wife Summer and their two sons Gianni and Joseph Jr. went missing from their Fallbrook home in February of 2010. The family SUIV was found near the San Diego / Tijuana border and many believe the family just picked up and moved to Mexico. Until yesterday that is. Last Monday an off road motorcyclist riding around in the Mojave Desert near Victorville came across some partially buried human remains. The rider called San Bernardino Sheriff's department and they began the meticulous process of excavating the bodies and identifying them. Some San Diego news stations are positively identifying two of the bodies as the Joseph and Summer McStay. However authorities have not officially identified them. San Bernardino Sheriff's is talking to the press today at 11:00 AM.

San Diego and 42 other cities in three states were sold millions of feet of faulty water piping according to a Los Angeles federal jury. The jury says that JM Eagle (formally JM Manufacturing) has to pay damages of a yet to be determined amount. The company has already agreed to pay $22.5 million to settle a 2006 law suit to many of the same cities. A judge will determine the final amount for this one.

Extending San Diego's Blue Line Trolley into La Jolla is on the agenda this morning at 9:00 for the San Diego Association of Governments Board of Directors.

Covered California's executive director Peter Lee is in town and talking about California's health insurance market place at 12:30. If you live in California you do not use the federal web site healthcare.gov. Here we made our own CoveredCA.com ... So if you want to see your health insurance options and you live in California go to CoveredCA.com.

And finally this morning at 6:00 thousands of walkers will begin the annual Komen San Diego Three-Day Walk to raise money to fight breast cancer. The walkers are meeting at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and walking 60-miles all the way to downtown San Diego's Petco Park camping along the way.
