This documentary tells the story of skateboarding in New York City and how through the continued efforts of the local skateboarding scene, positively impacted their community. Shot with the Canon 7d, these interviews were conducted throughout 2012 in all different locations around New York. The documentary was initally a thesis film for The School of Visual Arts. Post graduation, I continued to work on the project, tweaking interviews, shooting more skateboarding in the recently opened LES Skatepark, and even getting the ok to use footage from the Eastern Exposure videos. This project has been a long time coming and I am very excited to finally put this out for all to see.
