Synopsis

Ina, une jeune immigrée introvertie de 11 ans, se retrouve captivée par Petra, une nouvelle venue dans sa classe, originaire du même pays qu'elle. Face à son indifférence, une quête désespérée de connexion s'empare du monde d'Ina, qui oscille entre rêve et réalité.

Ina, an introverted 11-year-old immigrant girl, finds herself captivated by Petra, a newcomer to her class from the same country as she is. Faced with her indifference, a desperate quest for connection takes over Ina's world as she moves between dream and reality.

Vjosana Shkurti est une réalisatrice canadienne-albanaise basée à Montréal. Son cinéma explore les questions liées à l'origine, la mémoire et à la relation de l'humain avec la technologie. Ses œuvres, mêlant réalité et l'abstraction, ont voyagé en festival au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe.

Vjosana Shkurti is a Canadian-Albanian director based in Montreal. Her cinema explores issues of origin, memory and the relationship of humans to technology through the performative potential of the camera. Her movies blend reality and abstraction and have traveled to festivals in Canada, United States and Europe.
