"The Sandwich That Sam Killed Sandy With", is an amateur short film. It was shot by 5 first year students for a group project in the Videography module of the Media Technology and Production BSc course at the University of Bradford.
I was generally assisted with several parts in tasks of the project like Shooting, Audio Operating, Editing, Montage, Production Folder Making and Styling. But since I am really interested in Film Titles / Opening Sequence, I took the intro part more seriously than the others and produced it myself. I had such little time available, plus I had never tried it at home before, so I decided to sit overnight with a couple of friends and make something independent from the footage to make it more interesting. It would be my first time producing film titles and I decided to pick stop-motion as a technique because I understood it better and it seemed easier to make at the time with a simple idea for a faster outcome.
Since I had a few hours to make this, mistakes were made which can be clearly seen in the video. I learned quite a few tips for my following projects. Fun times!
