This is a timelapse video that we made as part of a workshop in the BighART Gold project, in Griffith, NSW, Oz.
We made plasticine letter moulds, and froze water into the letters. Then we photographed them melting, every 10 seconds, and animated the pics together on the computer.

Since early 2006, filmmakers, photographers, theatre makers and young people have spent time on rural properties across the Murray-Darling Basin in Eastern Australia. These project participants have been sharing and collecting stories with farming families during the worst drought on record and at a time when farmers are facing an uncertain future.
