Azadeh Shahshahani became the first woman of color elected as President of the National Lawyers Guild in 2011. She joined the Guild in law school and has been a committed member ever since. In this interview, she discusses the impact of US interventions in her home country of Iran, as well as the effects of US imperialism in other parts of the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa.
