During the night from 16th to 17th November 2013, a couple of people and myself were observing two currently visible comets ("Lovejoy" and "ISON") at Hohe Wand, Lower Austria - about 1000m above sea level. Upon this occasion, this time lapse video was made. It consists of more than 200 single frames, each taken at an exposure time of 25 sec and at f=8mm. For the naked eye, the view of the fog covering the lowlands - illuminated by the moon from above and by artificial lights from below - was fascinating. To the (upper) right, Sirius and Orion can be seen, both of course gaining elevation during the 1.75 hours of total exposure time.
