IFR conditions around the state put a bit of a damper on airplanes flying in to East Cooper. Around 5 airplanes made it in. According to Flight Aware, two flights were IFR-filed - one from St. Simons and one from Beaufort County. We drove as conditions were 200 over at our home airport (KCAE/KCUB) - and THAT precluded our newly minted IFR pilot the chance to practice in actual conditions because we couldn't even get off the ground! Fortunately, conditions closer to the coast were much better.
Stoney filed in for our "Fearless Leader", Gerald, who was under the weather (literally!) at Twin Lakes.
