I was asked to come up with visuals for a Bowie cover band. There were many possibilities, but none more fascinating than going to the city where he wrote and recorded some of his best work. I shot 1600 photos in two days. The ones represented here are not necessarily the best one. They were chosen because they tell a story of the great city.
This film was inspired by David Bowie, Christiane F. and the unbelievable history that can be sensed on every street corner in Berlin. The Berlin Wall features here. It is now a tourist attraction. Let's hope that will be the destiny of all tool of suppression.
