Incorporating ideas of green infrastructure, fourth graders at Reservoir Elementary School designed a new interactive play area for the patch of dirt behind their school. Their designs include ways to use, rather than waste, stormwater. Funded by the EPA Urban Waters grant, in partnership with the Urban Pond Procession and Environmental Justice League of RI. Facilitated by Sean King of GOOD Landscape Architecture, Lisa Melmed, Josh Lantzy and Jamie Topper, with help from UPP founder and artist Holly Ewald and science educator Will York.
