Sark is a superb sea kayaking destination and is one of my favourites on our offshore “mothership” sea kayak tours with Jersey Kayak Adventures.
Sark is surrounded by 75m high cliffs so landing spots are limited. The big plus is that the coastline is riddled with caves. There are so many sea caves to explore on this sea kayak adventure that we ended up only exploring sea caves with an entry and exit. As for sea arches to kayak through, well we soon got bored with these!
Ideally you need to spend a couple days exploring by sea kayak. However, unless you are able to sea kayak over to Sark it is both costly and time consuming to freight sea kayaks over. As a result I plan one or two trips each year to sea kayak around Sark. We travel from Jersey by charter boat and then explore the island by sea kayak.
