Northwestern State hosts the Fleming Thomas Lecture Series in the Friedman Student Union Ballroom. The guest speaker for the lecture is Mary H. Manhein, Director of the LSU Forensic Anthropology and Computer Enhancement Services Laboratory in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Ms. Manhein, knows as "The Bone Lady," has more than 30 years of experience in forensic anthropology, has worked on hundreds of forensic cases, conducted many forensic anthropology workshops, and has lectured across the United States and Europe.
