Coach Dom Ahuna once walked a deadly path as a bouncer at three nightclubs in Honolulu. Although he was a stand-out athlete at the University of Puget Sound, the death of his father caused Ahuna to abandon his football scholarship and take on three jobs to take care of his family. This led him to the nightclub business, where crime, drugs, and violence reigned. After a drug dealer stalked Ahuna and was about to threaten his family, Ahuna saw the dangerous path he was on in a vision. (He claims that God spoke to him and showed him how he would die at the hands of criminals.) Ahuna heeded the warning and quit the nightclub scene. Now the strength and conditioning coach at Iolani School, Ahuna has created the Iolani Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This story was produced by the students of Iolani School.
