I have shot this wall, an undeveloped lot left by the '89 Earthquake in San Francisco, several times before. But it was the graffiti inside the wall, not the wall itself that nabbed me. Today, I thought the wall was so fantastic. It is likely that the late in the year for San Francisco two days of rain burst out the growth of the abundant weeds and wildflowers on the lot. And the contrast of all that green life through the slats of the red-painted wall was all-inspiring for me.
