Each fall Heberle Farms welcomes migrant workers to pick thousands of bushels of apples in their orchards in Brockport and Orleans County. The men, many of whom hail from the Mexican state of Michoacán, come to the U.S. on temporary visas. They work long days, seven days a week, through good weather and bad so they can send money back to their families. (video ©Catholic Courier, 2013)
