Watch us print and etch PCBs designed using fritzing.
We use magazine paper and print the etching mask on with a laser printer. We then transfer the toner to the copper faces of our boards with an iron.
Next the paper is removed by soaking the boards in warm water for a few mins.
Our etching solution is made up of HCL and H202. Once the copper is dissolved into the solution, we rinse the PCB off and remove the toner with acetone.
