Around 25 minutes up a hill from Bellingen is the Dorrigo rainforest centre - the gateway to the subtropical rainforest and part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage site.
After passing by surrounding farms and walking through the car park, I wasn't prepared for incredible transformation of landscapes.
A stroll out on the skywalk (on the cover photo but not in the video) is the brief introduction to the wow factor that awaits, but it's not really until you make your way down the Lyrebird Link that the serenity really hit me.
That's when I started filming.
I shot this on a camera that I was carrying for the purpose of still photography. I carried no tripod, so forgive some of the wobbly shots.
