It looks like I am becoming a vintage Guild dealer..I have sold quite a few Guilds Electric Guitars now and still have more in the store. I love Guild guitars. This one is a 1963 Guild X50 Cordoba with the White Case “Frequency Tested” Single coil Pickup, Harp Tailpiece, “LIP TOP” Headstock and Sunburst finish. This is a beautiful guitar.
The body is very much like the Gibson ES125’s…It is 2 7/8 inch deep and 16 3/8 inch wide at the lower bout…It sounds fantastic thru my amp but is equally nice just played acoustically. She is coupled with the original Guild Soft shell Flannel Lined Deluxe Arched Case that’s in as great of shape as the guitar. This Made in the USA Guild electric guitar has been professionally Setup with Flat wound Strings and excellent low action.. Completely original and in fine fine shape. Only small dings and buttons scratches. The original owner must have worn a belt while playing as it does some some scratches on the back.
For a guitar of this age, it is in beautiful shape. Grab this one she is Sweet. These 1960’s Guilds are very undervalued and will only increase. They are a fun playing investment, You will love it!
