Before I made "A Yeti in the City" in Austin, TX with a full production crew, I foolishly thought I could make it on my own, using the talents of my family and a Canon XL1 I convinced my friend Greg to purchase. It turns out I knew nothing about filmmaking and my family (at the time, in fact could not act...or I was just a terrible director). The day before returning said camera to my friend, I decided i might as well make some use of the costumes. So I rolled the camera and made it up as i went along. This was shot without edits (although recently i did cut out a segment that was just too much for me to take, in which i sang a bunch of terrible love songs I had written) this is the product of that fretful fall in Albany, New York in 1999.
