This is one of the most fun hobbies that I can possibly think of. I dreamt about having something like this when I was a child, and then as I grew older, my fantasies of having a drone machine only increased. Then one day my father was telling me about this drone that he had watched a program about on television. I estimated what I would pay for something like that of which he was describing, and I estimated it to be at least a $5000 USD product. Boy was I off of the price! You can buy a new AR.DRONE 2.0 for only $300 USD! I'm now on my third one. Lost one in a tree. Lost another at the Waikiki Natatorium as it crashed in to the Pacific Ocean. This third one has taken some beatings and I keep repairing it. Soon I'll have the new power edition model which includes GPS onboard, as well as two batteries, of which are extended size of batteries as well. Buy the new power edition AR.DRONE 2.0 for only $380! Crazy cheap prices. Of course, there are some downsides to having something that is made inexpensively, like the distance from which you will lose remote connection. That is also affected by your device that you are using as a remote control. It will probably be an iPad as I assume that the iPad will have the best wifi transmission power versus any other Apple iDevice, or any Android type of phone. Watch as I fly my drone around Kapiolani Park in Honolulu, Hawaii. It's a dual cam video. The first one that I've ever made. There's an onboard video camera recording from the pilots perspective. I'm also filming the drone from my camcorder.
