Comet ISON (C/2012 S1) captured by the SOHO spacecraft as it dives into the sun's corona and in a dramatic action a fraction of the icy body's tail returns from the hell the next day and fades away forever in the Solar System. I edited this stunning sequence of images (from Nov 27-Dec01, 2013) released by SOHO (Solar and Heliospheric Observatory), leveled, enlarged and sharpened them for full HD viewing. Enjoy!

See the changing speed of the comet near the sun. Kepler could be very glad to see this! The effect of solar wind streams on the comet brightness is interesting. isoncampaign.org/karl/a-trail-of-questions
