The 1989 Copa Libertadores Final was more than just a soccer match.
Atletico Nacional, a team that had only recently found success, faced Club Olimpia, a South American super power that had one the tournament on multiple occasions.
If Nacional won they would become the first Colombian team ever to win the greatest tournament in all of Latin American soccer.
The night in which these two clubs clashed heads would never be forgotten.
