Aqua Mapping is a series of three art interventions that respond to a sites coastal history, topography and climate.
In Aqua Mapping (Columbia River), an inflated, yellow ball is towed by a motor boat. The route that it takes is closely informed by a normal recreational paths, and in some case a historic trade route.
Essentially I am interested in seeing what happen when these conceptual (and often imposed) markers and borders become part of the physical landscape.
