While walking down the Third Street Promenade at Santa Monica on a Sunday afternoon, I came across the Argentine brothers, also known as 'Seis' Cuerdas'. After listening to them for a minute and realizing they were killing it with their acoustics, I just had to shoot their performance to share it with everyone.
That evening when I was looking them up on google while listening to their CD that I bought on loop, I was surprised to see that there was not a single video where you could hear them as you really should. So I decided to make one. I went back there the next weekend to hear them play again and shoot their performance from some other angles along with the audience watching them.
Shot over 2 days with a Canon 60D + 50mm 1.8/f lens, it was quite a challenge to work as a one man crew for myself, to shoot whatever and whoever I could within those 45 minutes that they would perform. But at the same time, the most fun project I've worked on!
I'll let the video do the rest of the talking :)
