When I first started talking to Adam and Liz about their wedding, I asked Liz what they hoped their wedding would be like. "We are going for a light-hearted, community-oriented vibe. Maybe that's not a legitimate vibe... I'm not sure." Needless to say, I was instantly smitten. Their wedding day was packed with colorful flags, bright red lips, a choreographed dance down the aisle, and lots of intentional community-oriented celebrating. I was amazed at how much work and preparation the couple put into their wedding day, yet how present they were, purposefully communicating how much they valued and enjoyed the individuals who were there with them sharing in the celebration. It was an absolutely beautiful and raucous cacophony of love.
