F. Melius Christansen's arrangement of "Little Drummer Boy" performed by the Donald B. Cowan Legacy Choir on July 9, 2011 at Bass Performance Hall in Ft. Worth, Texas. The Donald B. Cowan Legacy Choir was a reunion choir from 32 years (1961-1993) of alumni of the S. H. Rider High School A Capella Choir in Wichita Falls, Texas honoring the legacy of Donald B. Cowan, the director of the choir for those years. Over 100 alumni, ages 35-64, from throughout the United States as far away as Hawaii rehearsed once a month for 15 months just to be able sing with "The Greatest Choir Ever" one more time. The choir performed two 2-hour, fully A Capella concerts, June 25, 2011 in Wichita Falls, Texas and July 9, 2011 in Bass Performance Hall in Ft. Worth. Donald B. Cowan conducted both concerts. The concerts were filmed and produced by 2nd Generation Films, Austin, Texas. 2nd Generation Films' owner and CEO, Jerry Malcolm, sang in the Rider A Capella choir 1969-1970 and performed in the Legacy Choir concerts.
