If the politicians are having problems getting the funding for a national Votes for Women trail in the "Cradle" of the U.S. women's rights movement, then this is a case for Santa. We're staying on the case until there's some action. The U.S. Congress has been sitting on this legislation for years. The Finger lakes region of upstate New York is an "emerging" area for tourism, not because of its lakes and wineries, but because of its history of women's rights, womens suffrage, abolition, temperance, and free thought.
