Cottbusser Chor sings Vorahnungen 18.3.2023 KM28 Berlin

The music you will hear today is done with the help of friends. Haytham El Wardany, Yan Jun, Jasmina Al Qaisi, Mikhail Lylov wrote short texts for. us to sing. We received theses texts as an audio recording. We learned them phonetically, we don’t know what our friends wrote because we don’t understand their language. So this a premiere for both of us the choir and the audience as some of you in the audience will understand some words or maybe everything – so today we will be the first time confronted with the meaning of the words written in your face !

Till now we just had foreshadowings. "Vorahnungen" is also the name of this music.

What can we do to change our patterns perception of the foreign and the unknown. How do we create techniques of togetherness which are fun and make sense at the place where we are, here in Berlin.
