There were 3 different amps / amp models involved in this recording: a Marshall preset on my Mustang III amp (British Steel), a custom patch I created based on a Vox amp model. And finally, there was a Fender Acoustasonic SFX amp. So that is where I got the title Mar (from Marshall), Vo (from Vox) and Sonic (from Acoustasonic).
The warble you hear was my Strat recorded on a Ditto Looper pedal, using the Vox custom patch with a Vibratone effect. I then routed that looper through the Acoustasonic amp to create some stereo separation between the rhythm and the lead (the Mustang III / Les Paul using the Marshall patch). The whole video was shot with my HTC One X, mounted on a Panavise. The two actual amps (the Acoustasonic and the Mustang III) were located on either side of the room both facing the HTC, more or less.
