The Core Dynamic Stability series of exercises are based on moving one or more limbs while holding a stable position, or "bracing" with the core musculature. These are more specific to athletic movements such as climbing than almost any other sort of core exercises. This progression includes the Ball Plank, Ball Roll-Out, Ball Cauldron, Plank with Feet on Ball, Plank with Knee Tuck, and Plank with Pike. We use a stability ball in the video, but we can do most of these exercises on the TRX as well. Core Dynamic Stability is one of four categories of core training we do. The other categories are Core Stability, Rotation/Anti-Rotation, and Hip Flexion.
