Architecture is concerned with the construction of reality. Whether simulated, augmented, consented upon, or not, this is its concern.
Cinema is part of architecture. As a visual medium, it displays its content on architectural surfaces with which eyes can interact. Movie studios have had a central role in the process of flattening the terrestrial realm, but the proliferation of animated realities has sure exceeded the studio walls of Universal, Disney, Warner: Polaroid, Super 8, PC, CCTV, smartphone, tablet. Eyes on the screen and feet on the ground.
