This is my first 3D animation that I made for the fall 2009 semester using Maya software. The assignment was to make a 2D still-life painting become not-so-still-life in 3D. Since fruit and violins didn't interest me investing 75+ hours, I used my own painting (made collaboratively with Christian Madsen, special thanks to him.) This simple quickie narrative shows two old west card players in a dispute gone violent. I took a lot of inspiration from the outlaw "wild bill" Hickock. He was shot in the back of the head playing cards the one time he didn't keep his head to the wall like he usually did out of paranoia. Enjoy!
