CityLeaks is proud to present the results of the cooperation between the metal workers' union IG Metall and CityLeaks Urban Art Festival.
For CityLeaks' 2013 edition we hooked up with the IGM to prepare a concept for a mural painting at the IGM Training Centre in Sprockhövel, Germany (igmetall-sprockhoevel.de)
We invited several renowned urban artists to send us a sketch for the facade design. These sketches were exhibited during the festival at the DGB central in Cologne. A public vote as well as a jury then decided on one sketch to be painted on the facade in Sprockhövel. Among the competitors were Jim Avignon, Faith47, DAL, Hendrik Beikirch, RIPO, ZEDZ and Debug Visuals, whose draft won the competition.
In late October Daiker (Debug Visulas) finished his mural with the little help of our CityLeaks assistant.
See now the clip documenting the final painting!
Special thanks go out to AkzoNobel (akzonobel.com) for their colour support and Melting Pot Music (mpmsite.com) for providing the sound to this clip.
