Pääsu

This is a moving portrait of Pääsu-Liis Kens. Inspired by her love for slow cinema and her sensual presence in nature, this film is a moment in movement perceiving the elements and the body.

Note from the cinematographer: I have been increasingly interested in portraying people; I find it a unique way to get to know somebody. It is an honour to observe and come close to someone, offering them a new view of themselves. There is care and empathy in this opening to each other.

I have created moving portraits to work with dancers and bring into the portrait the movement element, to portray also their movement qualities, their presence, and their usage of time.
