TRANSCRIPT: This was the third International Conference on Climate Services, and I think it marked a real achievement for the Climate Services Partnership. This conference was about 150 people from 35 countries, and I think it showed a real growth in our partnership and the community of practice that we’ve developed in the way in which different organizations are engaging and different people are making connections and having conversations, forming collaborations. We also were able, at this conference, to focus on the transition from research and pilot activities to more sustained services, so we identified five themes that would really contribute to building sustained services, and we discussed those from all angles. On the last day of the conference people gave presentations synthesizing issues that fell under those themes and carved out a path that we can work on in the future. So in that sense, I think it was really productive.
