Nebula is an audio visual sculpture inspired by the work of St. Jude researchers. The piece is an artistic representation of the human brain. Nebula premiered on September 27th 2013 as part of the South Main Trolley Tour in Memphis, TN.
Originally the piece was intended to be a part of the "Art of Science" show; unfortunately, the AoS gallery and staff were unable to accommodate the sculpture's technical requirements and so the piece was relocated to a outdoor public performance space. This location proved to be outstanding as it provided the necessary condition for viewing of the sculpture and became accessible to a much wider audience.
Special thanks goes to Sarah Fleming, Sam Dunn, Leslie Gower and The Downtown Memphis Commission.
