So what else can the end of September bring besides another beautiful wedding day! I've known Katie for a long time, in fact we graduated from high school together. And although I only met Jesse on their wedding day, it felt like I had known him for a lot longer. Both Katie & Jesse are the kind of people that are just fun to be around. And their wedding was exactly that, FUN!
The guys were getting ready at Jesse's parents house when we arrived. You could tell from the start that everyone was really excited for the day to begin. Whiskey shots in the driveway anyone? Once we were Inside, we filmed Jesse as he put on his tux and then were quickly out the door and over to the Cathedral.
We met up with Katie at the church as well as Krista & Mike from The Hurst's Photography. Outside of the Cathedral, we captured some beautiful detail shots of the dress & shoes just before Katie was ready to get dressed. Once she finished up, it was time for the ceremony.
As the ceremony ended, we worked alongside Krista & Mike on the steps just outside of the Cathedral. The exterior of the Cathedral is always a breathtaking backdrop, especially when the weather cooperates! Luckily, the lighting was amazing and we got some great shots before heading over to the reception.
We had the privilege of working with Dancing DJ's again for the reception. They are always so easy to work with and we really appreciate everything they do for us! But there was one more thing I was anxiously awaiting since we booked with Katie & Jesse and that was the Michael O'Brian Band! Yes, towards the very end of the night, the Michael O'Brian Band played all their hits along with a few covers of some popular artists. This was so much fun and really got the guests into the dancing.
Thanks so much to Katie & Jesse and both of their families for an amazing time. We had a blast spending the day with you and wish you the best of luck in the future. Enjoy your video!
