CAPTURING NATURE is a student-curated exhibit appearing from December 10, 2013 through April 13, 2014 in the Oscar F. and Louise Greiner Mayer Gallery of the Chazen Museum of Art in Madison, Wisconsin. The museum is free and open to the public.
The CAPTURING NATURE exhibit combines scientific instruments, historical artifacts and objects, and fine art drawn from various repositories and collections from across the UW-Madison campus. It was curated by 16 UW-Madison freshman under the direction of professors Ann Smart Martin (Art History) and Lynn Nyhart (History of Science).
