JARRING is a set of 3 hand-made, letterpress and digitally printed artist's books by Mirabelle Jones that share the experiences of 22 survivors of sexual assault. The goal of the project is to raise funds for Rape Crisis Centers (RCCs) through book sales and to create an archive of true experiences that are accessible to the public in order to raise awareness about sexual assault. 100% of profits earned through book sales as well as any amounts received in excess of the fundraising goal will go towards donations for RCCs. This project is made possible in part due to a grant from the College Book Arts Association and a letterpress residency at Women's Studio Workshop.
