A quick test advecing bubbles with a Fume Sim. The emission size of the bubbles are driven by the temperature and then advected by the smoke velocity. In the tests I used Frost Zhu/Bridson and Metaballs to mesh the large bubbles and added a displacement on top. Rendered in V-Ray with a simple refracted material and HDRmap.

You will need to Re-Simulate 'Bubbles_FumeFX001' for the particles to update. You will also need to plugin your own HDR map 'Env_Reflection_lgt' if you want to render. Hope this helps! Happy new year!
