"Touching the Spirit" art exhibition is a result of a collaborative effort between the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living and the University of Michigan. This exhibit showcases the final clay works from a course held at the AACIL.
Last Monday was the exhibit's opening and I was asked to shoot the day's festivities and come up with a promotional video that the AACIL could use in the future.
Shot with the Canon 7D (hand held) and the Rode Video Mic with no pre-amps. As you watch the video, you probably realize there was a lot of background noise. The exhibition room was small and everyone was talking so loudly. Despite that and all the echoes, the Rode still picked up the interviewees voices. Quite impressive for a relatively 'cheap' mic.
