What is French Press?
What is Pour Over?
How is Immerset like French Press and Pour Over?
Immerset Combines both French Press & Pour Over
The Immerset allows you to control both variables of brewing: the grind density and the flow rate.
Immerset provides the functionality of french Press. "French Press" devices are more accurately described as immersion brewers. The idea is to have a vessel in which the coffee grounds can be subjected to prolonged contact with hot water. The "pressing" action serves only to separate the grounds from the water, the grounds themselves are not pressed any significant way.
1. The French Press is limited to coarse grounds.
2. Most french press devices cool undesirably during the brewing cycle
3. French press often break and are notorious hard and messy to clean
Immerset solves all of these problems with an insulated chamber, patented easy-to-clean and infinitely adjustable control valve, and impact resistant brew chamber. The main difference from French press devices is that we use gravity to separate the grinds from the water rather than "pressing" a plunger. Immerset also doesn't limit you to coarse or fine grounds since it uses a paper filter (like a pour over). It can also be used with reusable screen filters. It also has a unique imprinted stainless steel sleeve that ensures flow even when used with the finest of grinds.
Immerset will be the best "Pour-Over" device you can own
1. Pour Overs have no integrated flow control. The control "mechanism" is the barista. A time consuming and variable approach.
Immerset has a valve that allows you to control how fast the water flows through the coffee. This simple feature is a deceptive powerful tool to dramitacally improve the pour-over results.
