This is a sound analysis of Moby-Dick with an accompanying visual. The program reads through the text of Moby-Dick. Each word is logged, played, and shown as a circle on the graph. The pitch of the note is determined by the frequency of the word in the text (if the word appears a lot, the pitch of the note is higher). The length of the note and size of the circle is determined by the length of the word. The program was written in Processing. Words that meet certain requirements may be read by Google's TTS service. The user is able to turn on and off the notes and voice components.
