'Duende' (Spanish) is a heightened emotional response to art. In Spanish folklore, El Duende is also the name of the spirit the artist must wrestle with in attempting creation. To express this fanciful concept, I looked to my dreams for inspiration.
The music is from Spanish composer Enrique Granados' 'Danza Espanola, Op. 37, H. 142 - XII. Arabesca' (1911), performed by William Riley. This recording is public domain, and available on the MusOpen website: musopen.org/music/226/enrique-granados/danza-espanola-op-37-h-142-xii-arabesca/
This short was filmed entirely on a Blackberry Q10.
