Deccan Development Society (DDS) is a grassroots organization working with women's Saghams (village groups of the poor) in Andhra Pradesh, India. Most of the women are Dalits, the lowest group of Indian hierarchy.
DDS Community Media Trust was started in 1998 to give voice to marginalized rural communities, particularly women, who are left out of mainstream media.
